Bevo is a 2004 bay tobiano gelding. He is by a proven cutting stallion (6 Open APHA Cutting points to date) and a daughter of the great Delta Getsya There (NCHA $ 17,795, ROM Cutting). In his first show he won 4th place out of 8 halter stallions. At his second show he received 2nd place in Halter, 2nd in the Color class and Reserve Champion Stallion. Pretty good for a cutting bred colt without any halter breeding!

 

Bevo's sire, A Cut of Gay N Doc is by Uvalde Gay x Gay Bar King (Leading Maternal Grandsire of Reiners and Cutters). His first grand dam, Uvalde Doll, was a two time APHA World Cutting Champion. On the bottom side of his pedigree, he is out of Cut A Sassy Bar, a daughter of Sassy Doc  (a leading NCHA producer)  x Doc Bar. He is a great grandson of Three Bars, Gay Widow, Uvalde King, Doc Bar, Sassy Bars x Sugar Bars and Cutter Bill. He placed 3rd at the 2002 APHA World Junior Cutting Challenge and won the APHA Junior Cutting in Houston, Texas in 2003.

 

Bevos Dam, Theres a Jackolena, came from 6J Paint Horses in Huntsville, Texas. She is by Delta Getsya There, a product of the legendary Doc O'Lena (AQHA Hall of Fame and NCHA $21,992) x Delta (NCHA Hall of Fame, $49,345, Bronze and Silver Awards) cross. On her bottom side she goes back to Jack O'Lena x Doc O'Lena.
